Internet Marketing Podcast Show No 17

The 17th Internet Marketing Podcast is now live, and I have to say this is by far the best podcast to date. There is just so much valuable information in this podcast that frankly you would be silly not to listen to this with a pen and notepad at hand.

Luis presses me for final answers on traffic, and he gets me to reveal the core of my anger over the previous podcast, it’s definitely the Internet Marketing Podcast you want to hear.

Its great to hear you both back On-Air. I can see The Internet Marketing Podcast going to Number 1 with the information that you guys are giving out.

Excellent podcast guys. I found the part about buying traffic very insightful. I myself have been caught by dubious service providers and have resorted to doing my own adwords, which is still a learning curve for me.

My question for you guys is, or more specifically Luis, can you possibly focus some questions on adwords for us, I would really like to get Justin’s insider tips on how to go about doing adwords correctly.

Great podcast, content as usual excellent. I think when you are new to Internet Marketing you have to find a site and stick to it like glue, avoid all the “noise” out there and hype. My grounding is still CB Success Report, which resides open on my desk and being read like the “holy grail”.

Thanks for giving so freely of your time Justin, I respect your outlook on life, if you can teach but one, then you have succeeded. Looking at local sites I find a lot of people really battling and put your name up everywhere, so hopefully we will eventually get a forum to share, as well as learn to lean on each other rather than putting our head in the sand like an ostrich, this game is way too big to take on alone.

Hey guys nice podcast, thank you.

It’s a pity about the forums that did not really work out, but I am still glad that we tried to help fellow South Africans. At least I’ve met a couple of great South African marketers while it was still active.

Luis – hope you enjoy Durban and good luck with your online business. I’m sure that with Justin’s help you’ll make a huge success out of it.

Great stuff and now that I have more time I will be going back to all the other podcasts to listen to a few I missed.

As for the reading I prefer to chat to you…so you can repeat yourself.

    Cheers
    Derek

I liked your ‘action’ what you read, great point. I have tweeted your point, and also know I cannot have a passion for all, and need help with asking for help. Thanks from a small business entrepreneur in Ohio, USA.

I have read, read and need more and massive action, action. peace Jimhandi

Great stuff guys. Definitely agree with Justin on you must be out there to add more value and you’ll always get more value. I think that is true for anybodies long term success in business and in life.

    Hi Darryn,

Thanks for the tip, I have read some the content there… but perhaps Justin could share a little more in a podcast, and I am sure I am not alone when I say that its MUCH easier the listen to something than to read it, I guess I am just lazy.

Sorry Magnus but being lazy in this business is gonna get you nowhere.

Nice podcast guys. My honest opinion about the SA Market is there is nothing to promote and the programs that are available – everyone is promoting. Because of this people are too scared to share their information because the market is so small. No new programs have been launched in ages and this makes it even worse. I just wish the Larger Companies in SA would wake up and see the potential of affiliate marketing.

It would be nice to have a forum to go to, the one chris and i started eventually ended because no one actually asked any questions, we worked it hard for a long time but eventually decided it wasn’t worth the effort and energy anymore.

BTW Luis – I will see you in Durban soon when I win the week with Justin – LOL

Gentlemen, thanks once again for great, honest content. I’m one of the guilty South African’s that’s been listening to all the podcasts and not getting involved. That’s about to change :)

Getting back to the call – for those of you using Wordpress to host your website, there is a nifty plugin called ‘All in One SEO’ which at least takes care of the basic SEO needs of your website.

Another great tip – check out http://www.traffictravis.com and download their free software. You can analyze the SEO of your website in seconds and receive a report which is really helpful.

    Hope these tips help!

    Take care,

    Justin.

Thank you Justin and Luis for another great podcast.

Justin, some people don’t realize the monetary value of time spent and therefore thank you again for the time and money you invest in providing this valuable information to us at no charge.

All the people that are not part of the IMU don’t have the slightest idea what they are missing out on. Thank you again also for everything you do for us in the group. It is great to mentor under you!

About the syndrome of internet marketers in SA not to share, engage and interact, they must remember one thing: “There is no security in obscurity.”

I 100% agree on your point of people gathering information but fail to take action. In my businesses I use the “KAP” methodology (KNOWLEDGE, ACTION, RESULTS). This is the recipe to succeed in anything in life.

Can’t wait for the next podcast.

Other JUSTIN – welcome and thanks for sharing and engaging, we look forward to connecting with you on a regular basis.

Leon, I LOVE THE “KNOWLEDGE, ACTION, RESULTS” analogy and I have always said the one thing that makes me the undeniable heavy weight of the industry is that I will outwork and out action anyone I come up against – that is the recipe to succeed – even taking the WRONG action is still the RIGHT action – if you turn failures into lessons.

A lack of action is a certain recipe for failure!
