I’m very interested to hear more about how to use social bookmarking properly. Clearly the Page Ranking idea has gone out the window and I’d like to gear up for the long term.
Thanks for another great show guys!

Justin, first of all thank you for all the great podcasts, and secondly thank you for kicking my butt. I am one of the guilty ones that listen and reads peoples content, but fails to interact with others on these blogs and forums, so yes, you will hear more from me in the future.
Is there any way you can maybe provide some more detail on how to correctly use social media, since you referenced that most people are doing it wrong?

Hi Justin
I would like to know more about PPC – how to do it, what to read, where to learn and most importantly what to promote.
Justin Harrison said,

Darryn – I’ll ask Luis to plan a show about social media, and we can chat about it more in depth.
Dale – Well you know what these DAMN South Africans are like, they hate to share or engage, so let’s see
Vernon – please see my comments for Darryn
Lisa – I will be adding more articles to my PPC category soon, so stay posted.

Howzit Justin
What is it with South Africans , they don’t share or post anything. Its like they are scared of something . When you go to international forums they share and help each other. Here you are on your own dude. Very sad

Dale, do you want to know something scary:
Podcast #16 Stats Summary:
Number of plays by Feed = 312
Number of plays by Website = 654
Number of plays by Download = 502
Total 1468
So we have had 1468 unique people listening to the podcast – 312 by feed such as Itunes, 654 have listened to the podcast on the website and 502 people have downloaded the podcast from the website.
And out of the 1468 people – 1383 are South Africans…
… and we have a total of 4 people (me excluded) that have taken the time to post comments and ask questions on the blog.
TBH – I am sick to death of South Africans bitching and complaining to me that they are battling, and I have had enough of being bled dry by people who can’t even take the time to ask a question via a forum of a blog.
They all want everything for free, and even when they get it for free, they cant even commit in kind by engaging and becoming proactive.
It’s a VERY SICK South African mentality that we feel we need to hide and sneak and play cloak and dagger games, and then assume this is normal for the way business and this industry should be… and frankly I am GATVOL.
So enough is enough… I am very seriously going to way up my thoughts on the future of content for this blog and the podcast.
If South Africans don’t want to engage why should I teach???

Agreed – thats why we stopped our forum as well – after 2 years of building it – it wasn’t worth the energy anymore

Thanks Justin, always enjoy the podcasts, go over them regularly… yes a good few times and take notes, poor old notebook looks bedraggled and we are only into the first quarter!!
Will have to go back, PPC agree with Lisa, I see two links to start off with and refresh. The other book beginning to look ancient, is the Split Test Master Guide really trying to come to grips with doing things correctly before trying to move on – sorry very slowed up. Thanks Luis for your assistance and good luck with the move.

I have to humbly say that I agree. Being one that has had to come out of the South African shell after some good butt kicking, I feel so much better for asking questions and putting things into action.
People, if you DO have questions, and you DO, I know you DO, then ask away. This is the place to do it. Don’t worry about how silly it may sound.
The podcast is my favourite thing to listen to on a Friday! Save the Podcast, Save the World!

Wow 1500 people and 4 people interacting! shocking actually.
I have enjoyed all of the podcast immensely! All have them contain a few gems, which will take a long time for most people to find out on their own!
My question for the next one(if there’s going to be one):
Well I would like to know more about LSI(latent symantec indexing)
Darryn Rex of getabsixpack.com said,

Werner, thank you, LSI is something I would like to find out more about too. Luis, would you mind bringing that up in a future podcast as well, even as a sub-topic. Would be interesting.
I have to agree with most that have commented here, just some encouragement to Justin and Luis, I often refer to the material on this site and listen to the podcasts while driving around to refresh on ideas. So to the other 1490 people… talk up…!

Justin I am not from South Africa, but I can tell you that I follow every word you say because you are one of the few internet marketers who has never tried to sell me anything (I still don’t understand this), but I would like to please ask that you continue this blog and the podcast because your information and knowledge is totally awe inspiring, and it would be a great loss to the marketing community at large if we lost this site and you as a resource
Come on guys join in we need to save this site.

I am not from South Africa either, and it’s a shame that your countrymen don’t support your site and your efforts.
I have followed you since 2004, and I can tell you that you are one of the great marketing minds, and to loose this blog and your input would be a major loss not just to South Africa, but to the community at large.

First off Justin I can see you are frustrated, and I just want to say that your blog is one of the ONLY internet marketing blogs I follow, so please hang in there we really need you.
Secondly please can you include some content on your podcast about split testing, I have read your guide, but I would like to hear more about what you do in this field via the podcasts.
Thanks a stack.

Luis & Justin you guys really rock and I am one of the guilty ones, I listen to your podcast on my IPod whenever it comes out, and then somehow I never get round to asking or commenting back at the site.
So my question is, how do I sign up for a mentorship with you?
Michelle Jayes said,

Hi Justin
As a South African I think that generally we need to be more educated in how business can be done on the internet. The majority of South Africans are pretty backward in this. We still have a long way to go, but I do think that more of us are getting involved.

Another great podcast and I like the whole concept of accountability. I think we all get stuck in the rut of shying away behind our computers, so thank you Justin, and your hard line I am certain will work.
As for my question, I would like to ask about banner advertising, nobody talks about this anymore, why?

Well I am so glad lots of people have responded, but more importantly I hope you have all signed up with Justin this is the only way you can stay in contact with him. So I suggest you go to the link on the top right of the page or go to the contact page and follow instructions there.
I am so glad there will be another Podcast Well I am sure of it will have to wait and see what the big boss has to say.
Will look at these questions and prepare a Podcast accordingly.
We are seriously blessed to have a person like Justin providing information to us, so lets not shoot a gift horse in the mouth.Every every person can offer 1 thing and learn from it via the forum would that not be great?
Well enjoy the weekend, I will be packing and getting ready for my move down to Durban on Monday.
Good Luck to all including, myself Cheers

Hi Justin,
Trust you and your wife are rejuvenated and enjoyed Easter.
I agree with Michelle, we don’t contact each other enough – share our educational shortfalls to become proficient. As a Newbie, I find info flow quite a bit to handle. Busy “killing” off spam IP’s caught by Askimet, cPanel is where I am listing the unwanted. Because of learning to do Split Testing, I am finding ongoing clean up – hook, crook and fluke.
Luis, Justin and or “Gang”, what is the possibility of a Skype get together to “head bash” for half an hour on a Monday morning, fresh start to each week. Most teleconference calls are USA time and in the wee hours…. 10 minutes to cover questions from Newbies and 20 minutes to listen into advanced guys and learn! Would this be feasible? Mayhap get to know the local market, use local (is lekker) and develop this new eMarket?
