Voice recognition software finally matures.
Being an Internet marketer I spend a tremendous amount of time writing for the web and answering e-mails, so you can imagine that once I received the latest version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9, I was totally thrilled to find out that the software does work and provides 99% accuracy.
Having used previous versions of Dragon NaturallySpeaking, I find myself completely overwhelmed and frustrated due to the fact that I have a slight speech impediment (Lisp), which has made the use of voice recognition software, almost completely impossible.
The latest version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking requires very little user training and is dead easy to set up, from installation to the point of writing this article took less than 25 minutes, and that includes 15 minutes worth of optional training that I decided to do.
On average my normal typing speed is around 42 words per minute, with Dragon NaturallySpeaking I’m able to type up to 200 words a minute using just the microphone and the voice recognition software.
On the average day, I type between 2000 and 10,000 words, and that is excluding e-mail and the time I spend on a companies helpdesk assisting users. Needless to say the latest version of Dragon is sure to speed up my typing and will certainly add more productivity to my day.
If you do any amount of writing it for the web or otherwise, I would strongly advise that you consider purchasing the latest version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
Good luck and happy marketing.
