Internet Marketing Gurus a dime a dozen.
It’s no secret that I follow some industry players very closely, some of them are full of hype, and others are kind of edging out a niche and providing some interesting perspectives in the process.
As an industry leader on the internet, it is as important to watch the big boy competition as it is to have an eye on the little guys, because on the Internet little guys can become big boys really fast.
The funny thing this internet marketing industry, 6 years on and I remain amazed how immature some of our industry colleagues are, but then again that’s what separates the zeros on our bank accounts.
It’s about time that someone cut to the chase and removed all the hype and bullshit that has crept into this industry, not only does this affect the businesses involved, but it has a ripple effect down to the consumer.
I recently caught a video Blog from Jim Edwards who is an up and coming Internet marketing elite, a club reserved for the aristocracy of making money online.
His candid, down to earth manner seems to be making friends and foes at an equal rate, and the ranks of self proclaimed “Mainly American” gurus might take offence to his demure. I personally find this up and comers comments quite accurate and refreshing.

The one thing that is 100% accurate in Jim’s comments is that the good stuff, the really meaty stuff that REALLY produces results, never gets discussed.
The clandestine nature of internet marketing is a direct result of how quickly some crack head looking for a shortcut will come along and abuse a good strategy.
The other truth is that anyone making real money with a strategy will not part with that information for any sum of money. The ONLY reason people part with a strategy is that they have used it to the point where results are moving the other way.
The numbers of mastermind clubs are growing on the Internet at an alarming rate, but having lurked amongst many of these, even they don’t offer up some of the best strategies.
Jimbo my boy, if you really are sharing the best information, limit the membership to 500 and charge twice as much, those on the receiving end will value it in the long run.
