  1. Hi Dale, thank you for the inspirational insight, and I will be trying to get into Justin’s mentor program on Monday.

I find it very encouraging that there area really real people out there earning a living from the internet and I hope I can become one of them.

Dale, this might be a bit forward, but can you share some of your websites with us?

  2. Great stuff guys and Dale well done on making it to becoming a full time online marketer, I’ve just about managed it and hanging on until my income online is double my off line income.

Its been a %$#%$# of work, but I am loving every minute, I would really like to be part of the program because I know that the stuff Justin teaches is relevant from my own exp.

    Cheers, Ryan

  3. Now I’m really intrigued. Read something about WordPress last night strangely enough. So how do I use it effectively and profitably? Sign me on for you course

    Warm Regards

    Trevor F

  4. @ Peter

I don’t want to give away all my secrets as I have worked hard to build my online business , its taken years of hard work and many people have tried to copy me, which is quite aggravating. But I will tell you this – find a topic you are passionate about and build your business around that.

    @ Ryan

Good for you dude – keep it up, it took me 4 years to double my offline income , and since I have been doing it full time I have never looked back. But let me tell you this – if you think it gets easier being full time , you are very much mistaken, I work harder now than I have ever worked . I start at 4am and usually finish at 8pm. Its not because of the work – its because I have a serious passion for this business. Anyway hope to see you on the course.

  5. COPY OF EMAIL FROM SEO GUYS

“I see you are telling people to use wordpress, how can you use wordpress to build a website, it is not even seo complaint?
    What a load of rubbish!”

  6. I just wanted to answer the question about wordpress, because it seems everyone has jumped on the bandwagon with the emails to me, above you will see an email sent to me by “SEO GUYS”

    1) Well YES we do use wordpress, but you need to use specific plug-ins to make it SEO compatible.

    2) You need to know how to turn it into a compatible CMS system by configuring it correctly.

BUT it is the BEST and EASIEST system to use and IT WORKS.

  7. LOL – some people have no clue – i have built 22 wordpress sites since the start of the course and all of them are at the top of the search engines – hahaha – maybe they haven’t heard of the plug ins that go with wordpress.

  8. Sceptics be silenced!

I look forward to the mentorship, is there any way we can get our hands on the course material without doing the mentorship?

  9. Well done @ Dale, nice to know that the “Saffers” are making a success online, and that you for your input.

Justin how much does it cost?

  10. Go Dale, Go Dale, Go Dale :)

I wonder where John Gore is is today HA? :)

  11. Good going Dale, from Justin’s email today you seem to have really made it big time, seriously well done!

  12. @ Dale

TKS man, its been a great deal of work already, just cannot wait to be able to apply myself full time. When I am at my day job (which now bores the $%#%$ out of me) all I can do is think about by business.

Really hope I can be part of the group soon!

  13. Once you are in the group there is no fee. We split the costs of the venue hire etc as a group. Justin doesn’t charge a cent for his time – i have been in this business a long time and there is no one that gives there time for free – except for Justin. There is no hype behind this – Justin genuinely wants to help others succeed and i think most people can’t understand this.

  14. @ Dale, I understand, thought I would ask though -)

  15. @ Dale

Reading the comments from the blog over the last few days I see there are many people who question Justin on his motives, and one guy was saying how Justin suckered people into like 4 million rand (not sure if this is true)?

The thing is I don’t mind paying if something works, and I think Justin is entitled to make money off his knowledge, I guess most people will always question that if he knows how why is he teaching this stuff and not doing it himself?

  16. Thank you Dale for sharing your thoughts, you seem to have done really well 22 sites WOW that’s amazing you are not kidding around are you.

Hope to be part of this!

  17. Well done Dale, one question how long has it taken you to build 22 sites, and surely that must be expensive?

So I take it you need some capital to start these websites?

  18. Look I don’t know how much Justin made, if he made 4 million then he deserves every cent of it – but I can tell you one thing – anything he does sell is worth far more than its actually worth because he puts his name to everything – which most internet marketers don’t do.

He has spent years researching an testing so why should he not make something out of it.

On top of that everything he teaches – he has tried and tested.

People are just jealous because he is a success and has a huge following, and the reason for this is he tells the facts and not all the bullshit you find out there.

  19. @ Graeme Fry

Its taken me around 8 months, and yes there is a cost involved , hosting , domain names , articles and time.

You can’t get into this business without any capital. In fact you can’t get into any business without capital so why should internet marketing be any different.

Look if you don’t have much cash to start then you will have to write the articles yourself which is the most expensive part of any website, so you need to work out what you can afford and take it one day at a time.

  20. @ Dale

It is a sad world we live in that when someone wants to help others they get shot down. Like I said yesterday to the John Gore guy (who was quite condescending) I have never felt like justin sells to me, he seems to tell us when we need something because we really do.

People always assume that you have to trick people or hook them to get a sale online, the one thing that I see Justin does differently is that he is a real and he is not out to make a buck, that fact that he does well I think comes from the fact that he helps people with their problems before anything else.

Thats the way business should be done, and all these youngsters think its a big game or a system to cheat.

    just my 5 cents!

  21. Thanks Dale, then why are there so many IM people out there that say you can start online virtually for free?

I mean I understand that you need money to start a normal business, but online you can write the content, develop the site and as an affiliate marketer you don’t need to buy stock?

So it should cost virtually nothing right?

  22. @ Graeme Fry

Its rubbish – its costs money to get into this business , you have to set up a hosting account , you have to buy a domain name, then you need to invest your time in learning – time is money dude. Don’t be fooled – this business requires hard work and capital. How many books have you been sold, how many pieces of software have you purchased ?????. Have you purchased PPC ads on google ???

Sorry dude – you need capital if you want to make it in this business , unless you fully understand seo and can write your own content .

  23. Hey Dale,

Sorry you forgot one big expense that bites you in the bum as a “start up” entrepreneur online…Telkom @ R64.76 per 1GIG. Being one out, and working from home anticipate at least 10GIG per month. Do the math.

Remember it takes a good few years (well in my case most probably) to get to market correctly and start to make money!

Rome wasn’t built in a day – go forward with caution if you are on a tight budget. Seek advice and when you find a person like Justin, read, listen and try implement.

  24. @Joan Stewart

Thanks Joan – hope to see you in the group.

  25. Thanks Dale, me too, Justin’s party, his invites – TGF – enjoy the weekend.

  26. It is so crazy how people are always searching for answers, and when they get the answer they have been looking for, they turn around and ignore or shut it down.

Good luck to all who apply to the mentor program, this business is not about selling online it is actually testing your own ability to survive. This is one tough business to be in and you best be prepared mentally!!

  27. @Deborah
I think thats really totally unnecessary! Whats all this mud slinging going on here? Sis. Shouldn’t you be thanking me for opening your eyes to the facts that were right in front of you the whole time, yet you could not see em. (remember, you thought Justin was barely making anything, when in fact he has made R4 million off 1 product). What I said HELPED you, and did not HURT you, so why all the hate?

Can we pls stop all the mud slinging now, and just all be friends. I’m here to learn, just like everyone else.

    @ Dale
(sorry for the above off topic, just couldn’t help myself)
Kudos for making it full time buddy!
Actually checked out a few of your sites yesterday (after your blog comments), and I’m impressed with some of your methods. How far to do plan to take your new biz(es)?

    @ Justin
Please don’t hold back the other 7 interviews on my account. I’m sure we are all eager to hear what the others had to say.
My comment regarding hype was factual, not a dig at you. Its just fact that by posting the interviews at this point, the side effect is hype. (define hype: “To promote heavily; to advertise or build up” , eg. NOT the definition: “publicize in an exaggerated and often misleading manner”). Perhaps I should not have use a word that could carry a negative connotation, I mean’t it as a positive observation.

    @ Steve
you said: “one guy was saying how Justin suckered people into like 4 million rand (not sure if this is true)?” It IS true, but PLEASE don’t change the words now. Go back and read AGAIN. Nobody said “suckered”. He had all the right to make the money he did from the product because: A. Its worth it. and B. He is a freaking genius to have pulled it off.

Download the full report (webinar: 150mb download in the comments here: http://www.justinharrison.com/internet-marketing-tips/marketing-strategies-revealed-webinar.php ) its well worth it. You will see how he MADE (NOT “suckered”) R4 million Rand from the product.

    @ everyone
Well, if you don’t apply to Justin’s mentorship program, then you are the only one that’s going to loose out. Apply for it now!

  28. (..er, I mean on MONDAY when doors are opened for apps. …you know what I mean…)

  29. @ John Gore thanks for the link, I have spent my whole Friday night watching the replay of that webinar (3 times) and I am stumped, you’re right about one thing Justin is an absolute genius, and the stuff he shared on that webinar is unlike anything I have ever seen.

Actually still shocked he shared as much of the system as he did, but heck man the guy is out of this world, and clearly on another level.

I apologise for misquoting you, there is so much information on this site, its easy to get lost.

On a side note I need some sleep its like 4am, so I will catch all of you once I have had some sleep (not sure if I can do it after seeing that webinar).

@ Justin, you are a legend my friend, and THANK YOU for sharing with us!

  30. @John Gore

Thanks for you comments and glad you are all friends – this blog is getting quite hectic – but its good because there is a place where one can be open about their views.

As to my new biz(es) – I am going to keep going till i die dude. There are so many gaps in the market that its just a matter of sitting down and doing the research – then putting the plan into action.

There is nothing more thrilling than putting a new site together – doing the work and then making the first sale.

Anyway hope to see you in the group

  31. @Steve
Glad you took the time to watch the webinar 3 TIMES (thats 3x 3 hours for those of you that have not downloaded it yet). Kudos for the dedication.

I also pulled a 4am last night! :eek!

    @Dale
said: “There is nothing more thrilling than putting a new site together – doing the work and then making the first sale.” How true that is!

“Till I die” is a great motto too. Live by it myself!

But… how “big” to you plan to go? Odd question I guess, but right no you can “survive” full time, next step is to thrive (but once you have the knowhow, its only time before surviving turns to thriving), then what? Do you plan to go huge? How huge?

    @everyone
I have to say I’m very excited to see some South African Internet Marketers (and those learning to be) coming out of the wood work. Seems everyone was trying to just do their own thing in the past, all alone, and not working together. I think the biggest Kudos goes to Justin for his share in turning that around, and getting a lot of people together. AND Kudos to ALL of you that are making the move. Its the best thing for you, and all other IMs in SA.

  32. @ John Gore

I am already thriving. When you say how big do you want to go – not sure what you mean. As long as there are affiliate offers on the table I will keep building new sites. But let me tell you this – since I went full time I have trebled my income and it keeps rising.

Whats more important for me is that I don’t have to answer to anyone. I work for myself and do what I want, and when I want. That’s the true gift of this business.

  33. @Dale
you said: “I don’t have to answer to anyone. I work for myself and do what I want, and when I want.” Well said! I have to agree 100% with you there! I left traditional employment 2.5 years ago now, and I can not imagine ever going back to working for a boss EVER again!

I’m sure you will agree that it’s not easy though, thats what people often misunderstand about this biz: It’s DARN hard work, but the payoff is better than anything else.

3x the income in how long? A year? It’s it lovely the leverage of the internet? Kudos 1 last time! ;)

  34. Do you have any capitol to invest into starting a business? * (from the upmarket application form)

For a person offering to be a mentor he must first learn to check his content and maybe learn to use a professional copy and a spelling checker.

This below is crap as you don’t need to do this to use wordpress like this to succeed.

    1) Well YES we do use wordpress, but you need to use specific plug-ins to make it SEO compatible.

    2) You need to know how to turn it into a compatible CMS system by configuring it correctly.( BULL SHIT as a beginner can use WP)

Wondering if you will allow this comment

  35. @Johan

What are you actually after – if you know so much then why do you even bother to comment – get on with your stuff and leave the rest of us alone.

Seriously the is nothing worse than dealing with negative people.

  36. Clearly Johan you know a lot about spelling and critising people. I would like to know how much money are YOU making online currently and what are your future plans for this business.

Like Dale said if you have nothing to say why say it at all?

Unlike other websites and Guru’s out there Justin does allow good or bad comments. Why because he is not afraid to answer them and show other people what this site is really about, building online relationships in South Africa!!!

  37. Dale this is open for comment and what I said is the truth. I listened to your video and if you “that is you” paid 15K to learn how to use wordpress and believe in the statement you made that it takes time and patients to make money online and if that is what you are tough for 15k then there is something wrong. What is wrong can’t you handle comment and they are not NEG but the truth as making out it is difficult to use wp is a lot of crap.

Luis I have focused only on my online income for the last 3 months and it is close to 10-15k (rand) currently. I am also a real estate principal but have lost interest in that market and want to focus only on IM now. On the US market +- $1000 a month and the only reason is me not pushing that income is that that money is staying in the US at the moment.

Why do you call this a BAD comment. He needs to copywrite his content and he knows it. And what he is saying about WP is crap. I will goto the biggest IM forum and open a post with his comment and they will laugh at him.

Like I said wonder if these comments will stay.

  38. @ Johan

Firstly I never paid 15k for the course – it was a 3rd of that. Not sure where you got that figure from ???

Secondly we did not just learn how to use wordpress – it was one of the things i was never good at, and in the course learn’t how to use it effectively.

We learn’t a full system on how to research a market , how to find the content , how to build the site , how to optimize wordpress , then a detailed stratergy on how to get the site to the top of the search engines.

A full A-Z plan – which i do state in my interview.

You don’t know the full story and all you can seem to go on about is how easy wordpress is to use and how Justin made spelling mistakes.

Anyway you are right – this is open for comment – so when you comment on something expect people to comment back.

  39. @Johan

After reading your comment again – I just want to make something clear here. Justin did not make a cent on this course – the small fee we paid covered the venue hire , the breakfast and lunches , coffee and tea and the data used by all 11 pc’s and the small profit that was made was donated to the SPCA.

But you go and make your comments on all the IM forums if it makes you happy.

  40. @Johan
Firstly, well done on making R10k plus pm. Thats great. Kudos!

I agree Justin should probably check spelling, typos, etc. (also spotted a for “webiste” typos ,etc). But to be honest it doesn’t bug me all that much, as I suffer from the same prob. I would rather that he get the info out there in a direct matter, than get a copywriter (who doesn’t know what he knows) try to re-write the copy in perfectly “correct English”, and perhaps even loose its meaning.

Did you notice the webinar download link above. I really think there is a lot to learn from that. If you download that, watch it, I’m sure you will find a few things to apply in your IM, which may even get you up to R30k pm. Thats without even meeting Justin.

    @ Dale
said:”..I never paid 15k for the course – it was a 3rd of that. Not sure where you got that figure from ???”
Well, that is how much the course is this year (see app form). I think in a way its unfortunate, and its a bit much. On the other hand, it does ensure that anyone who does join is serious, and has a bit of cash available to spend, in order to earn back later.
Its a pitty its not R5k (Dale?) as it was last year, but choosing 10 people from 900+ is not easy, and it does ensure the ones you choose are serious.

Final comment on WordPress. Its not crap! Even without any plugins, it can do wonders in a VERY short time. However, I think what Justin means is that you can do so much more with WordPress if you use the right plugins, and then looking back at a simple “no plugin WP website” it is simply useless in comparison.

But this website is WordPress, and Justin teaches WP on the course (I hear), so I doubt he is totally anti-WP (as one of this videos suggests).

    @ Johan
    please contact me…

    • @ Johan

Johan, I think Dale pretty much summed it all up, you are jumping on you high horse without knowing all the facts, which actually is fine and I am glad you took the time to comment here because hopefully you now know the facts, and hopefully you now know I am not one of those guys that hides behind my PC.

Do I make spelling mistakes???, you bet ya pal… I am dyslexic beyond repair, but the difference between me and others is that I don’t lie back and wait for a perfect world to surround me, I am real, I am human, and I have managed despite this setback to create one hell of a business (that is something I am proud of).

Do I continue to make spelling mistakes, and does it put some people off, YES and YES again, the difference my friend is that whilst my focus is not on perfect spelling, it is on taking action, and therein lies the difference between those who procrastinate and fail, and those who take action and succeed.

If you can accept that, please stay follow and learn, if you can’t then go in peace!

      @ John Gore

There are two reasons for the price being more than last year, firstly this year I have included a fully inclusive rate which covers 6 nights accommodation and all meals to ensure that everyone who is chosen, has to stay at the lodge rather than booking elsewhere and missing some really good bonding time outside of the workshop days.

Secondly I felt that a fully inclusive rate which would push the price up, would also deter those who come to a workshop and then walk away without taking action. Dale has drummed it into me over the last year that if I don’t make people put money on the line (their money) chances are they wont taken it seriously and action the information I put in their hands.

  41. In my opinion this is very cheap – the information you are going to receive is worth 10 times as much.

  42. @ Dale You are to touchy. If Justin made a million buck and gave 1c to SPCA I couldn’t care less. I never said I was going to post on forums but I you would make a statement saying that if you don’t have these SEO would be bad in WP is wrong. I never said Justin is against WP.
I only use WP for all my sites. I even use a simple method to take html page and make it a a single sales page in WP like this http://ebookcoveractionscript.com/

@ Dale your video interview appears to me that is what you learned. How to use wordpress and you have to be patient with online business as it takes time which is also not true. So mabey you must change you video to say otherwise

@ Justin I am also no good with spelling tenses etc. But for me a client I expects you to have you sales pages correct as you are the teacher and I am to be your student if you value spelling and tenses especially on sales page, forms etc. as of no important then I have a problem with that. First impressions last and if the first impression you give is you can’t spell it sends out a wrong message. Especially since spelling checkers etc. is so freely available. Not sure if you a dutchman but I am so what is your excuse.

WordPress works perfectly as it is out of the box and making out it is not is wrong. And that was the point I was trying to get across here.

  43. @ Justin

‘Do I continue to make spelling mistakes, and does it put some people off, YES and YES again, the difference my friend is that whilst my focus is not on perfect spelling, it is on taking action, and therein lies the difference between those who procrastinate and fail, and those who take action and succeed.’

Justin not fighting with you but this has nothing to do with procrastinate. I use UAW and other top articles sites. If I would submit articles this way they will get rejected.

Bottom line to me it is doing it halfheartedly and I don’t procrastinate but prefer a complete project as that is what is expected out there.

(Or maybe you are using you wrong spelling to attract traffic from wrongly spelled keywords)

  44. @ Johan

    1) It seems a little precarious that when you criticize me on spelling your grammar leaves much to be desired.

    2) You said that Dale is wrong about his statement that “you have to be patient with online business as it takes time”, you are not only delusional and clearly wet behind the ears and this statement proves your total ignorance about what it really takes to build a sustainable online business, but let me inform you that you are speaking to a guy (Dale) who makes more money online in a single day online than you are likely to earn in an entire year, so save yourself the embarrassment.

    3) WordPress is not perfect out of the box, once again your ignorance proceeds you.

    4) Yes you need perfect spelling for article directories and other formal media, that’s why I have 80 staff who write and edit content for my websites (not this site because this site is my own personal work)

Frankly you’re just making a nuisance and an embarrassment of yourself, and you keep changing the context of what you are saying, so do us all a favour stop being a jack ass and contribute to our community or push off.

  45. Amen to that, be part of the process and not fight the system.

How do we vote people off the island again?

Plus I can’t wait to see Dale’s response to Johan comments!!

  46. @ Justin

Seems you cant handle critique. It reminds me of when I walked into a shop and complained about the service. The owner told me he dont need my money. So I asked for my money back and have not been there since.

Whether it is me or anybody else saying something that you don’t want to hear your response will be the same.

You say you have 80 staff (yeh sure). Did you forget to send you signup page to them LOL

So you want me to leave Bye

  47. @ Luis How do we vote people off the island again?

That is the problem here. It is an island. No man is an Island

  48. @Johan

As you refrained from contacting me offline as requested, where I could have tried to save you some serious embarrassment, I’m now forced to reply to you here.

Justin does actually run an internationally based company of 80 employees, it checks out. I too did not believe it at first, but its true.

This website is where Justin shares with the community what he has learnt, and what has made him successful. Who cares if he can’t spell? Clearly you can’t either, and nor can I. So whats the point of fighting about spelling?

I congratulate you again on making R10k plus per month, thats not a respectable accomplishment already. But you are still in comparison, brand new on the scene, and still have a LOOOONG way to go before you can judge others who are way more successful than you.

Voting people off the island is quite an unnecessary comment IMO. Johan, please stay, there is a lot to learn here, and Im sure you have a lot to share too. Just relax a bit, grab a beer, and chill. :)

  49. My thing is one if you do not have something constructive to say do not say anything. If you come here with guns or comments blazing expect the same response!

Well clearly let me be clear again, if this website does not interest you, leave if you are here to make intellectual conversation and try to learn from this forum stay. Otherwise you get dealt with the same hand you gave out!

Funny how people think putting up a website in the beginning and end all of a business online! If that was true I would be reach beyond my dreams right now. It is finding out how to use the internet as a pamphlet, newspaper, magazine to sell or market a product online.

Good Luck Johan in whatever you do!!!

  50. @ John

Justin made a spelling mistake in his signup form and that is what commented on. I use WP and have designed and customized many so that is my field of expertise.

I myself have learned a lot from overseas marketers and belongs to a membership that give you inside info on marketing by some of the top guys out there and by saying to them hey jackup your spelling they wont respond the way Justin did.

Ok John I am going to be honest with you now and you can do with this what you want and so can Justin.

I attended one of Justin’s course in Durbs before and I enjoyed it but for me 70% of the course was not new to me and from the comments in the videos it appears that mabey Justin’s courses is aimed more at beginners

Now when I attended the course Justin struck me as a very polite gentleman and had all his ducks in a row.

But that all have seem to have changed. I do subscribe to his list and have been watching some of his newer style videos and to be be honest don’t like the way he is talking any more by telling people to piss off or suck if they don’t agree with HIM. He did the same with me here and I still feel his statement about WP is over the top and to tell me and compare me to Dale etc.

Ok John so now I have judged Justin and the same Justin I spend a day with is not the same person the way he talks and carry on with the way he speak etc.

Justin comes now across as a know all and that has got nothing to do with me judging him. And this noncence about an Island well be careful as such an attitude can label you guys as a clan.

I think for a person new in IM I am doing not to badly as you have forgotten the $1K so that makes it close to 20K (R) but saying that I am not satisfied with that
and is working on a higher income and by no means am I saying that.

So to finalise. I received a email from Justin about the seo is dead problem. I was interested and read his article he published on some high key website. When I clicked on the link to goto his website on the seoisdead it was still under construction. Need I say more and nail me for making this comment if you want but for a mentor this is bad

    Like they say
Peace and I dont drink but will have a coffee now

  51. @ Johan, if I recall correctly (correct me if I am wrong) you are the guy who was asking me (at times haggling a little) about Adwords in that internet marketing crash course you attended in Durban 3 years ago… the one I put on for free and raised sponsorship to pay for the costs?

Memory serves to remind me that I had a few attendees ask “how on earth I managed not to loose my cool with the oke who kept haggling me about Adwords” – but that is a side note that I have kept to myself since.

Either way, let’s set the facts straight…

One of the reasons why that course may have seemed basic might be hinted at in the name of the course (Internet Marketing Crash Course), secondly I am still the same polite gentleman you met three years ago, only I don’t exercise the same restraint I used to when faced with difficult people, life and time is too short.

Finally let me make one thing very clear here because I don’t think you fully understand that I am not looking for “clients” here, I am trying to create a group of people in South Africa I can call my peers, people who can be open, share and communicate freely but without all the negative input.

And whilst you may no longer like my tone, the one thing you can rest assured is that I tell it like it is, that makes me popular with some and unpopular with others, at the end of the day through I cannot be all things to all people, I am 100% me!

The reality is as you have seen others value this site and take the content here very seriously, if you comment they respond, if you ask for input they will provide it, and if you act like a fool you will be called out… and whilst I blush at how heated things can get, I am very proud of the fact that this site has finally sparked debate in our clandestine industry.

So like I said before if you take the time to read all the facts and have a positive contribution to make, stay and learn, otherwise this is not the place for you.

  52. Johan

I think that I remember you sitting to my left and mainly working on your sites that you had had going for a while. If I can remember back then you said that you had been doing online marketing for a while and it was running at a loss for you. Now a little bit down the line you are earning wads of cash…very interesting.

What all the guys on that Internet Marketing start up Course….yes start up course not advance do not know is that through following Justin’s strategies online and even converting a few of these in priciple to offline am now earning just short of R50k per month. In fact I called on him and ask his advice which he gave me for free, I put this into action and my earnigs should go up and aditional R36k P/M…not to shabby.

Yes Justin is a bit of a know it all…not a self professed Guru…like most who have made it…what I have noticed it that he works 18 hours per day and still finds time to help his upstart group. How many people have you assisted in the last year to make r50K per month?

This is such a waste of time…Johan if you have value add it…if not go away!

  53. Not me as I have never discussed adwords with you or during the course. Well I have said what I had to say. Actually Justin the way you talk to other IM’s out there in your videos is the tone i responded to you here.

    So be it

  54. @Johan

You started this with you comments – and they were very uncalled for, did you expect us who have respect for Justin to keep our mouths shut. Do me a favor – you are a very negative person – and really I avoid people like you because all you do is bring people down.

You should rather ask questions and get the full story before you critise people.

Yes I did mention the best part of the course for me was learning how to use wordpress – because I am technically challenged. I can’t design websites – have no idea how to install them and in my whole career of Internet Marketing ( 6 odd years ) I have spent Thousands on web designers because I couldn’t do it myself. That one little thing Justin taught me has saved me an absolute fortune.

On top of that I also mentioned in the video that it was a complete A to Z plan – listen again – but maybe this time turn up the volume so you don’t miss it. It’s an awesome plan and it works – the only thing the course didn’t offer was English lessons – which seems to be your focus in life.

Seriously dude it you had something better to complain about, maybe we all would have listened and not argue with you.

Anyway if you don’t come back I won’t be upset

PS – I did a spell check before posting this

  55. @ Derek
Not me as internet has never been a loss to me but a income. I have been building for the last year and doing real estate as well before that. 3-4 months ago I decided to change my direction and concentrate fully on online business. For the last 3 months all my income bond, new car and other expenses including 3 servers and as I spend +- $300 in membership fees one of them UAW has been paid for which is close to 20K so that is not shabby and if I continue the the way I am going I am estimating to double or hopefully triple that income by the end of the year.

@ Justin from all the videos from the comment made it appears a lot of the people sounds like new to me. They seem to talk about the milk and not the meat.

And you see even your followers say you are a bit of a know it all.

  56. @ Dale

If you refer to this as being negative you need to see from my side as the comments made here will distract people from using WP as this make WP out to be for the expert only. So I made a positive comment.

“This below is crap as you don’t need to do this to use wordpress like this to succeed.

    1) Well YES we do use wordpress, but you need to use specific plug-ins to make it SEO compatible.

    2) You need to know how to turn it into a compatible CMS system by configuring it correctly.( BULL SHIT as a beginner can use WP)”

And my comment again utter bull shit

  57. @ Johan you just don’t get it do you?

  58. @Johan

LOL – not even one is a s clever as you – i am really sorry we don’t understand wordpress like you do.

    Good luck

  59. From the mans own mouth in his video

    Discussion on trust and credibility

“If you have spelling mistakes all over the place don’t expect to build trust and credibility.”

    I rest my case

  60. lol – point well taken – but i still won’t miss you

  61. @ Johan you’re just making a fool of yourself rather stop while you are ahead. For the umpteenth time, this blog is my personal work.

You seem to have amazing ability to twist everything to suit your own view on everything, and frankly we’re all sitting here shaking our heads at you.

Maybe that business owner gladly gave your money back because you are “one of those people”.

  62. @Johan Sheez this seems like a really sticky point for you!

If I may ask how did you get to find out about Justin?
What made you carry on listening and sticking his website?
Yet if you really follow Justin you would realise that there have been spelling mistakes, but did it take the end message away from you?

Now Johan if that is even your real name, why did you only post today on the blog? Have you commented here before if please enlighten me on what you had to say!

I really find it difficult to believe you came here without guns blazing. I think you have another motive here so come out and say it!

Also this is a open and honest website so share with us your sites that is making you $1000 nearly R20k a month. We would all like to see and learn this is what this website is here for.

It is very easy for you to throw stones from your glass house but when we react you always have a way of twisting it. I think you really need to have a look at what you are saying because I believe you have lost the plot!

  63. Wow, seems like I have missed another thrilling day here at the site.

@ John Gore I apologise for my previous comments, I think I misread you and I am glad to see you being part of the debate in a positive way. Friends?

@ Johan rather pick a fight elsewhere, this site has a very tight community. We don’t always agree, but we do all agree that being generally sarcastic to the members here will not be tolerated.

  64. @ Justin
Twist – Do you use UAW and do you thinks it is worth it?

  65. @Johan What are you smoking? First you kak Justin out and then ask for help hmmmm, am I the only one confused here?

  66. @ Justin

You deserve a medal my friend, I would have lost it a long time ago! Anyway don’t let a few “haters” get you down, like you said, cannot be all things to all people.

    Later!
    Steve

  67. @ Luis
What I smoke you can’t afford. So I am not allowed to change my attitude.

    @ Justin
Seriously now – Do you use UAW and do you thinks it is worth it? (no hidden agenda)

  68. I have never seen a site with such an active bunch of people, just one request Justin, is there any way to make the comments area below posts smaller so it does not take so long to load.

  69. @ Johan UAW is ok for very small projects, but since article directories are being discredited in terms of any seo value I would not advise this to be part of your key strategy.

Instead I would focus more time on PR and Blog and forum marketing in it’s place esp for SEO.

    Does that answer your question?

  70. @ Justin

Thank you for you answer. Luckily it appears UAW mostly post more to blogs than article directories. I have had up to 1500 back links mostly from blogs using UAW from one article. The good part is that this happens within days whereas it seems to take longer to get articles approved on article directories and to be indexed. I have had more joy with Yahoo though as Google seems to take longer Why do you say article directories is discredited in SEO?

  71. Go to SEO is DEAD report and find out exactly what Justin is saying!

  72. @ Luis are you Justin now?

    Had some fun here bye

  73. @ Luis – do you now what Luis mean in afrikaans?

“Also this is a open and honest website so share with us your sites that is making you $1000 nearly R20k a month. We would all like to see and learn this is what this website is here for.”

Got nothing do do with you but I can assure it is not from having hostgater banner ads on my main website LOL

  74. @ Johan – just when I thought you had turned the corner and had something positive to add you start being sarcastic towards @ Luis, come on old chap, man up!

  75. @Johan

WOW we have gone back top primary school, you are a true classic South African that can not make a positive statement about anything.

If you dig hard enough you will always find fault and that is what you are!

  76. @Luis – my advice here is leave Johan alone – he seems to be enjoying himself – so the next time he makes a comment – just ignore him – if you don’t respond eventually he will go away – LOL

  77. Fact is, no one can possibly know everything about all the facets of the internet (including Justin Harrison) And you know what? That’s fine. And it’s the very reason this forum (in which Justin Harrison has built)
exists. There’s really no need for negativity and personal attack here. Let’s keep this a friendly place where we can all learn from eachother. Check your ego’s at the door.
If you’re not here for that reason, then I see no point in you sticking around.

On a more upbeat note, I think Justin’s drive to put SA on the map in the Internet Marketing space is truly honourable and the only way he can continue to do this, is with our support.

    All the best,

    Justin.

P.S. For those that remember Knight Rider -

  78. It is great to see people with the same kind of mind set!

  79. @ Luis – Sorry dude but you ….. aaggh just leave it. (so we friends now)(I like your website. You want me to click on a few adds for you? Have a tip for you on adsense. Do a few attorney/law pages. Is is a hot keyword. I got paid upto $3 for a local attorney link so US will be more. (or was that for Dale’s site)

@ Justin – Well said but Luis response has been cocky so I just responded back that way

@ Dale – What can I say – viva to our new defense force as if they carry on like they did yesterday all the time God help us. Just imagine SA going to war and as they charging the enemy the union phone the captain. The captain stop the charge and tell the defense force as of now we on strike

  80. @ Johan – glad you have a sense of humor . Look lets just try get on with each other and help each other – it would be a better use of our time don’t you think – if you need some advice just ask – and vice versa !

  81. @ Dale

Ok – how some advice here. I have a website with 120-200 uniques a month with a shopping cart loaded with a unique products in a hot niche and custom header with registered clients on that I am about to sell. I did this for a client of mine 3 years ago but they dropped the project a year ago as they had family problems so stop the online business. At that time they were doing sales +- R5000 – R1000 a month on the site (a tangible high profit product not digital)I kept the site going and didn’t drop the 3 year old domain (.co.za) and have 4 keywords currently in that niche that show 2 top link and other 2 1st page with lost of adwords competing. The site is fully working and can easily be revived with traffic as I disabled the ordering process. I am about to do a shopping cart site on a new domain for this guy in the same niche so was think of offering it to him between R8000-R15000

    Any suggestion on this
    Greetings
    Johan

  82. @ Johan – to be honest I can’t give you any advice on this as I have no experience in selling domains or websites.

Maybe some one else can give you better advice – Guys please help Johan here !

  83. Those numbers are suspect, do you mean 120-200 uniques a day or 120-200 uniques a month?
